The 2023 Chevy Silverado’ 2500 sports a regular gas-powered 6.6-liter V-8, which has 401 horsepower & 464-pound-feet of torque & mates to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Duramax has a diesel 6.6-liter V-8 from the former generation with 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet with the ability to connect to an Allison 10-speed automatic. All of the engines can hook up with rear- or four-wheel drive with compatibility for the single- or dual-rear-wheel axle.
